About the project

Under the heading “Migration in the Danube Region”, seven museums in four different countries have been investigating the cultural heritage of German settlers along the Danube. The first part of the project is a travelling exhibition with accompanying catalogue. The second part of the project is this website which can be used as a virtual guide book. The project is coordinated by the Danube Swabian Central Museum Ulm (DZM) and was funded by the EU’s cultural programme.
